NOVA LUMBERJACKS SOCIETY
In January 2016 a small volunteer non-profit organization was founded to help facilitate growth and promotion of Logger Sports and athletes. Since their inception, they have hosted 11 high level competitions;
- Nova Scotia Lumberjack Championships 7-times (2016-19, 2023-2025)
- Canadian Axe Throwing Championships 3 times (2018, 2019, 2025)
- World Double-bit Axe Throwing Championships one time (2022)
